"I think fortunately my needs are not too strenuous. I needed a lightwt laptop w/ enough memory to last me awhile and a 10 key on the keyboard. The Keyboard is a little cheap looking and the rt click below the touchpad has to be pushed firmly to work, so I don't think this would be good for people who pound on their computer, but for people like me who don't want to have to buy something very often and are very conservative with their needs (email, surfing, photos, Microsoft Office, Quickbooks and maybe some Webcam use and a few low key games) I think (hope) it will fit the bill. It had several driver updates right off the bat that were needed so I could download my printer driver and the ads and stuff that come with that are a pain, but it was basically easy to set up. If you're not pretty computer savvy or don't want to wade thru it I recommend taking a new laptop to a geek and telling them exactly what you want on it and then checking it out before you take it home and then you should have the programs you need without the pushy advertising. I had a Compaq laptop for years (from before HP bought them) so that is how long I expect my stuff to last. I bought this thru Costco and while I have not used their concierge service, a friend has and said it seems like a good deal."
