"I have owned numerous laptops but this is my first Toshiba. It appealed to me because of its cost and the backlit keyboard feature which is very helpful at night when trying to type while the wife is sleeping. I used to have a clip on light that lit up the whole room but the backlit keyboard is the only way to go. I would recommend this laptop to anyone. I am very satisfied with it."

"I purchased this laptop to be a desktop replacement. We've downsized our home and I needed something smaller to just use on the kitchen table. I run 3 blogs and am on social networks. This laptop works great for these uses. It's fast, easy to use and the battery life is great. I used Dell laptops before and, while they are they are pretty good, I like this Toshiba better. I'm glad I got it... :-)"

"This laptop was bought for business use and is fast with alot of storage. I like how the key board lights up so you can see it in the dim lights or no lights. It has many features that are good for business use, like the large 17" screen which customers can see really well while I am providing quotes."

"Face it. This computer has an i5-2450 processor w/8Gb ram. After using an i7 and working in large databases, there is no comparison to the i7. Battery life is average to good. Back-lit keyboard is great. Bluetooth capabilities work fine."

"i also own an older satellite 15.6" screen,so i was in the market looking for another with a bigger screen.this laptop is great so far,it runs really cool,processing power is great,nice to have a usb 3.0 along with other features which makes this a perfect fit for anyone who needs a great laptop for an amazing price."
