"I used to be a very loyal Dell user but in my job I work on their laptops daily. This Toshiba is better than most of the units I see at work. The number of features - BR player, HDMI, USB 3.0, 17" screen & separate keypad we among the bigger selling points for me. Toshiba loads a little too much software on these prior to shipping but it's nothing to be turned off by. As always with Windows PC's, there is a bit of a lag with booting up and some software loads faster/slower than others... The only thing I would definitely change in the engineering is to go with a video card that has it's own memory rather than sharing the system memory. Overall, I'd recommend this unit to just about anyone."

"This is a very nice laptop. The only thing with most any new computer is that I wish they would send restore disks and Windows on a separate disk. I removed a lot of the Toshiba extras, but I wish there was a way to simply install the operating system, and the needed laptop drivers without the extra things. As I said, this is a very nice laptop. The quality seems good, and I like the keyboard. I have an HP from school, and it is difficult to keep clean. I think this one will be much easier."
