"This was a upgrade laptop for my wife, she had a older Satellite. The overall laptop is good, but the keyboard keys are a bit hard to the touch, softer keyboard key touch would be nice."

"I purchased this computer to replace an HP desktop that was nothing but trouble from day 1. Although I don't expect to travel much with it, I liked having the option of a laptop. The large screen is the best feature, comparable to the desktop, and so far everything else works great. A versatile substitute for a desktop."

"I really like the computer, it's fast and clean. Nice keyboard, and nice case finish. Though the plastic case feels a little flimsy, so I would feel better with a more sturdy all metal case. I like the bulletin board and the sticky note applications-very useful and convenient. I would like a nesting remote to control all basic media player functions like an hp I had years ago. Another thing I really like is the touch-pad disabling switch above the touch-pad. I wish the touch-pad was a little recessed. It also runs very cool. The HDD seems to be sensitive to the slightest Jar."

"Have used it for a solid 2 months and love everything about it. It's quite frankly the best laptop I've owned. Even better than Apple. The picture quality and screen size is superb. The Dolby digital sound is amazing. You can definitely multitask with this machine. It has all the features I want but if I were Toshiba, I would do two things to improve the laptop. One, I would have liked to see a back-lit keyboard and Two, I would have made the touch pad just a little bigger. Overall this is an exceptional laptop for the money and would be perfect for all levels of computer expertise."

"I bought the laptop for its speed and ease of use. The only disappointment was the battery life. If you can purchase one that lasts longer then that needs to be installed in the base unit.

"This laptop was purchased mostly for my wife to use while in the living room. Also it will be used for car traveling.
All is as expected of a I7 level processor. Fast, works well in the online gaming arena.
Cons: Needs more USB ports only four and no pc card (pcmcia) adapter. Memory card reader location in the front is unprotected from dirt and dust and limited as to type of memory it will read. Screen is brite and colors are good, however angle of viewing is very narrow, so one must be almost directly behind and at the same eye level to clearly see the screen. No docking connector,
Overall this is a sturdy well built laptop meeting the standards of durability expected from Toshiba."

"This is my second Toshiba Lap Top. My wife also has one. My first Toshiba was 7 years old and was still in working condition, but I needed to update, so I purchased another Toshiba. The only issue I had with my first one, was replacement of the mother board. It was apparently damaged during shipment. Repairs were accomplished in less than a week. Other than that, I had no trouble with it. I would recommend the Toshiba brand to anyone."

"this laptop has great processing power and a nice size screen but the only downside to this is that the graphics capability is lacking...other than that its a pretty decent laptop..another problem was that there is a slot for a second hard drive on the laptop but then there is no connectors to actually put one in :/ found that pretty dumb to have a space for it if you cant actually use it"

"I am a retail merchandiser and I love having this wonderful Laptop to check my email and any important notices I need for my job. The ease of use and speed I get are awsome as sometimes time is of the essence for me. I use headphones and the quality of the sound far exceeds anything I have heard. I love the large screen as my eyes are not what they used to be anymore. I have a wireless mouse as I am not good with the finger pad and it works perfect. This is my first Laptop and probaby my last so having such a powerful one as this I feel very blessed indeed. If comfort of use is important to you then this Satellite model is for you!"

"Nice laptop for the 3 months I got to use it for. Ran my Sims 3 games perfectly and then some.
Hard Drive went bad EXACTLY 3 months after purchase. was going to backup all my data when computer wouldn't load....brought it to place of purchase and they have to send it in. Battery also never held a charge for more then an hour at the lowest settings. Now I have to wait a month to get my computer back from Toshiba. Another guy was behind us with the same model/plus when purchasing another guy was there with hard drive problems. Next time I will not be going with this company."

"Pros: There is plenty of storage with the 750GB hard drive and it handles multitasking with ease with 6GB of RAM. It has speedy graphics for a laptop computer. The screen is vivid and colors look great. The Harmon Kardon speakers perform very well. It is also very light for a 17" computer without feeling cheap.
Cons: The display is just short of being HD quality (1600 X 900). I think I would have rated it excellent if it was full HD. The power cord plugs in too close to the DVD drive. I have loosened the power cord when changing DVD's. It doesn't have built in Bluetooth which I prefer for using a mouse, I hate using the touch pads. The battery life is much shorter than stated but I seldom use it without the charger. I also think it has too much proprietary software that slows the startup process."

"LTop got hung once in some type of loop last week, had to do the emergency power off (hold power depressed for several seconds). LP recovered OK, no problems since. But I haven't experienced this type of unacceptable computing behavior since the days of DOS and pre-WinXP. Sure hope this is not a sign of bad things to come. dj"

"So far it's handled ok, but there are three things I don't like. First, I don't like the "connection" screen that comes up each time I let the computer rest or sleep. It's one more bothersome click to get to the "background" screen. I wish I could get rid of it. Second, I bought this computer with the priority of watching streaming videos, but when I watch, some of them are jerky;on my OLD computer, this was not an issue! Third, I am a trained typist and when my hands hover over the "touchpad" even with email, when I'm thinking, the computer sometimes closes the page."

"I purchased this Satellite to replace an admittedly grossly obsolete Dell that was twelve years old, therefore there is no comparison between the two technologically.
That said, I'm impressed with the overall quality, speed, and especially the large display, which when combined with Win 7 flexibility makes reading easy for a user with compromised vision.
Potential buyers should note that this is a large laptop, however it is lightweight and easy to pack and carry on trips. Overall it's very user friendly.
I'm particularly impressed with the keyboard quality and key action, making use for a touch typist a breeze. It's very fast booting and reaching a ready state with the i7 processor and the RAM supplied, and the hard drive is large enough for any possible use that I can imagine
The wireless adaptor (built in) is far superior to several others that I've used in locking onto weak wi fi routers, sometimes a problem in hotels,
On the suggestions list, would be relocate the jack for the power adaptor to the rear instead of the side, and the optical drive would be easier to use if it loads from the front. Otherwise, no complaints.
Overall I consider it an extremmely good value, and a great performer."

"This is my second Toshiba laptop. Could not be pleased more with the performance and reliability of the product. My only complaint is with the external shell of the laptop, which seems to be thinner and have a cheaper feel than my older (circa 2010) Toshiba Laptop. I would recommend purchasing the external battery which more than doubles the battery life of the organic battery. Other than that, very pleased and will purchase Toshiba again."

"There are many things I love about this computer but the one thing I hate about it out weights all the good.
The keys stick. A lot of the time the space bar doesn't move the cursor and you have to type and watch every thing you do. Many times you have to go back and redo what you've just done. All the keys have to be hit just right or they don't print. Never seen another computer that is so bad."

"I have tried the others and found Toshiba to be the best in quality. What sold me further was several years ago when I was in a car accident that totaled my car. My Toshiba laptop was not in its case and sitting in the front seat passenger unsecured. After the collision, the only aftereffect was a thin blue line down the middle of the screen. I will not use any other laptops except those by Toshiba."

"I have used Toshiba products for years. Recently purchased a different computer but it was junk. I went right back to Toshiba. This computer, the P775-S7320 (i7) is one of the best computers I have ever had in my hands. from the awesome picture to the solid build this computer is it. By the way, the Harman/Kardon speakers (standard) rock! I have never heard a better sound out of a standard laptop. I could not be happier, this laptop meets all you could need or want.
As far as quality build, my last Toshiba fell off a table, bounced down the stairs and slammed into the wall in the basement. I went downstairs excpecting to pick up pieces, nope, picked up the laptop and it was still working just fine and worked for years after. only reason I replaced it is I need a better, newer laptop for college courses. Toshiba all the way. Thats all I can say."

"it cam loaded with windows7 and pretty much everytime I leave it for several minutes windows becomes non responding and I have to cold boot. This gets very tiresome since I can't just keep moving the mouse every few seconds to keep it responsive."

"I have been through the brands( H.P., Dell, Sasmung, Apple and so on) This Toshiba ranks first by far and coming in at a distant 2nd would be the H.P. This Toshiba is very very fast, intelligent and has so many bells and whistles that I am thinking about purchasing another one. "The laptop is awesome because it is an I7, has a 17.3" screen, and based on other similar laptops it was nicely priced. However, the track pad is tiny which is slightly bothersome because I have to keep picking up my finger to move. Also I know that the parts on the computer are placed on well but sometimes when I pick up the laptop parts like the battery sometimes move and give me the feeling as if it is about to fall off. Other than that the laptop is a really nice one."

"I have enjoyed working on this laptop. I read some reviews where people didn't like the light coming from the logo and the touch pad, but I don't find them to be "too bright" or annoying enough to not buy the laptop. I have only had this laptop for about a month, so I haven't been able to find too many quircks, but it's a fast laptop and the battery life is farely decent."

"So far this is the best laptop I have purchased. I have had other laptops through work, and I find this one blows the others away. My last personl laptop was a Toshiba Qosmio, and it is still going strong. It was 7 years old and time for a newer model. I would recommend this package to anyone looking for a durable, feature packed laptop."

"This computer was bought as a replacement for a 5-year-old Toshiba Satellite laptop. The "old" one was running on Windows XP and was beginning to have limitations with new software. But the "old" computer is still in use. With some help from some computer gurus it is working just fine and will become my "travel" computer as I spend four months each winter in Arizona. I might add that the "old" Toshiba is the FIRST laptop I have kept - without problems - for five years! In fact, my previous laptops have generally lasted only a couple years without major work needed. Hopefully, this P775-S7320 will do as well."

"I have owned Toshiba laptops in the past and have always been happy. Got talked into another brand recently, it was a pile! Ditched it and went right back to Toshiba. This laptop is Excellent. Superior screen, lightning fast, Harman/Kardon speakers(some of the best availavle) lots of memory and hard drive space. For the money this laptop cannot be beat! I could not be happier."

"Best laptop or computer I've had yet. The machine is fast, easy to set up and easy to use. Screen is clear and vibrant, colors are eyepopping. Not too much bloatware, actually some rather useful programs preloaded. Price was good, of course I'd always like it to be lower but for what's in the machine it seemed like a very reasonable price. I'm not a gamer, so can't say much about that except that the specs should allow this to play most any game out there. One thing that really stands out is the sound. This is by far the best sound I've ever heard from a laptop. I shopped for months before deciding on this laptop, and am very happy with it."

"Great laptop. Display and graphics are awesome. Blu-ray player and 3d player is superb. Sleek design. Would have received 5 stars if battery life was better. Not a huge fan of windows either after owning a MacBook pro but computer was priced right for what I wanted. Could have come with more software also. Have to buy outlook 10 and others"

"my last last laptop was also a toshiba, this one is just as good and even better ,i like all the new features especially the blueray dvd player , the harmon kardon speakers have awesome sound, this laptop is well made and put together i recommend this to anyone,the screen viewing is excellent, it's fast to websites, photos, documents just a great laptop"

"This is my fourth Toshiba my last one lasted 4years before I just simply got tired of it and wanted something newer.this one is just awesome.I7 processor is a screamer.

"The screen goes black for no reason, This irritating beating noise goes off for no reason, it performs basics tasks as slow as possible, it cant seem to connect to the internet for the first 15 minutes its on, as the night gets later it gets slower, the paint is chipping off. I could go on for hours. DONT waste your money."

"After months of research I decided on this Toshiba for many reasons. Mainly top of the line specs for a great price. This laptop has exceeded my every expectation. Lightning fast, lots of storage, Blu-ray and looks sweet too! I won't let my wife use it, it's all mine, stay away!"
