"It has a clean crisp display, plenty of speed, and outstanding sound from the Harman/Kardon speakers."

"This is my second Toshiba laptop. The first one is 7-8 years old and is still running like clocks. Solid and expensive feel. Absolutely love it."

"From the outset, the laptop had a faulty DVD/CD drive that progressively worsened to the point where it no longer worked. I had chosen this Toshiba because I was happy with the performance and features of my previous Toshiba laptop."

"Pros: touchscreen, lit keyboard, keypad, disk drive, # of USB ports, good screen size, good memory option; fast. Cons: terrible glare on screen (& Toshiba doesn't offer screen/glare protector for this size); poor design- majority is right-handed - I don't like hot air on my hand from fan when I use external mouse; electric plug gets in way of mouse too - should be on other side of screen; flimsy disk drive; no discount on MS Office software with purchase; still too heavy; speakers not as good as I expected; need smaller width to match screen size-cut down on width & weight?"

"It seems with using Windows 7 operating system to the Third generation Intel i5 processor is incompatiable with the system. This has nothing to do with Toshiba, this has to do with the processor and operating system only. If the compatiability was there, this laptop would be a winner."

"I purchased this laptop to upgrade me from one I have had now for 5 years. While I thought having a touchscreen and smaller laptop would be ideal, it has turned into a bit of a nightmare. It takes this laptop forever to boot up! Windows 8 is not user friendly and you are constantly switching between the apps page (shown like on a tablet) and the desktop to be able to accomplish anything. Touch screen does not always work, have had to reboot because it did not. Mouse pad flips it to full screen without warning. I've accomplished less on this laptop than on any old one I've ever owned. For the price I paid, I'd much rather stay with the 5 year old laptop that is high performance and just needs a new battery."
