"This the 4th Toshiba Laptop that I've purchased over the years and is the best so far. I'm not a big Fan of windows 8 and if I had the choice I would have gotten a computer with windows 7 instead. But I love the features of this computer. The i7 processor is very fast, the LED backlit keyboard is awesome, and having a 1Tb hard drive is great. Over the years Toshiba has consistently provided me with reliability in their products."

"I had a Toshiba Satellite before....but then mishap & my screen broke! So I decided to try a Sony Viao next which I did & it was a definitely NOT what i expected for my money. I returned it and went back to my comfort zone Toshiba: Love the gridded Aluminum style & shape Love the picture quality Love the sound Overall I am a satisfied customer."

"This is my second Toshiba. The was first was a overpowered Qosmio that had had some problems but the overall quality was good enough to have me come back to Toshiba. My new Satellite is an excellent combination of performance, portability and value."

"I purchased many Toshiba Satellite laptops in the past 8 years. I was very happy until I purchased two new laptops this year. Although I purchased top of the line Satellite, I had to return it because of hardware problem. The ethernet card was not working properly. The screen of the other laptop was broken. I get nothing just a white screen with vertical dark lines. In addition, the quality of the hardware was low. I am not sure if I can trust Toshiba in the future and I am thinking of buying Gateway."

"Very elegantly designed. Graphics are crystal clear resolution. 4 USB ports and the RGB port are very useful. The only bad thing about this computer is that it comes with windows 8; an operating system that should only be used for tablets (slow and not user friendly if your used to a normal computer). If it came with windows 7 I would have Gave it 5 stars across the board. The storage, RAM, and processor are an excellent value."

"The product overall is good but the touchpad is a disaster. You are typing along and the cursor just moves to a different place in your text so you have to keep a close eye on everything that you type. I end up editing EVERYTHING. I am a Toshiba fan but this is driving me CRAZY. I've got the sensitivity set as high as it will go but a mouse may be the answer and just disable the keypad. What a pain. I am also finding that a lot of software has not upgraded to Windows 8 which is also a bit of a pain. I like the option of using the Windows 7 desktop and do go back and forth."
