"Great bang for the buck. Much better than my HP laptop. Fast processor, light weight and long lasting battery. What I don't like is the mouse pad is too sensitive. You have to shut off the mouse pad to type correctly. Its not a Mac, but its a great deal for the money. I would buy another one."

"Paid too much to have an erratic cursor. I type a lot and I need the cursor to stay on the line I am typing not jump somewhere else. Battery-life is excellent though and is my favorite feature."

"There is a problem with typing. While i type it can suddenly jump a row or a line and continue typing elsewear. If I don;t look at my typing for a few seconds it can mess up my whole page. I don't know why it happens. Make sure it doesn't happened in your computer if you by a Toshiba"

"All of the wonderful features are overshadowed by the poor battery life. The battery significantly drains while OFF. Nothing more irritating than a laptop you have to keep plugging in! Otherwise it appears to be a great laptop for the money. Performs well..."

"It is a solid laptop and build quality is great. But it has only one USB 2.0 port. You cannot use wireless mouse and USB hard disk at the same time"

"This is my first laptop, so I cannot compare this with other laptops, and I cannot tell if some of the problems I encounter have more to do with being a laptop neophyte or if other laptops would present fewer challenges. Primarily, the keyboard and FN keys seem to be ultra sensitive. As a person who is very fast on a keyboard, I kept having problems with the curser jumping all over the place and mixing up the text I was writing. Once I consulted the handbook, I figured out how turn off the sensitivity by disabling the mouse/right and left click buttons. That, and the sometimes inadvertant click of an FN key that makes something mysterious happen, has probably been my only real problem. As I become more familiar with the laptop, and investigate more of it's potential, I am sure I would write an "excellent" review. I do love the sturdiness of the laptop, and the size is perfect. ps..the one time I had to call the CS line, the CSR was very friendly and helpful."

"This is my 2nd Toshiba laptop, the first one - a Toshiba TECRA lasted almost 8 years until it became a dinosaur and a thumb drive was invented that had more memory than that entire laptop. Time came to buy a new machine and the Toshiba was my first choice, the price was right, the features were perfect and since I do a lot of digital scrapbooking the screen, weight and size fit best into my lifestyle of travel and working remotely. Great battery!"
