"I chose Toshiba after an extensive review of products from Asus, Lenovo, Samsung, and Sony. I thought Toshiba had the features I wanted at a competitive price. The I5 processor with 6 gigs of RAM and a large 750 gig hard drive were big selling features for me. I also wanted a compact size at 14". I also like the fact that Toshiba is known to be one of the most reliable laptops on the market. So far, I'm very happy with my choice."

"I haven't had this laptop for too long, but it has amazing battery life, very powerful and fast, and the mouse issue hasn't really arisen for me. I seems to be pretty heavyduty, and easy to carry( I am a student and take it with me everyday). I use it a lot, but has around 10-11 hours of battery life, so it is really great for on the go."

"I love how sturdy it is! The WiFi is dual band but you must turn off the blue tooth otherwise the wifi frequently doesn't work! Gigabit ethernet port is great! Easy access to RAM and hard drive in case you want to upgrade both!!"

"speed compared to winxp is great! As an eldery user, my arthritis interfered with my personal adjustment to the keyboard, but I love being able to turn off the touchpad, as I prefer a mouse. What sold me on this model is the HDMI capability combined with wifi so I can communicate with a large screen TV,enabling my sight-impaired husband to expand his experiences with the internet"

"It is interesting how I came to a decision for this laptop. I did a weighted evaluation of a laptop verses the leading tablets. Then I compared battery life (as much as 9 hours) with the others on the market and came up with this choice. Toshiba Laptops have been a solid product for years and this one is not disappointing me."

"Great machine except for the lousy speakers. Very fast, light and thin.Lots of features.The first one had a defective camera and was replaced quickly and easily. The replacement's battery isn't giving the same run time as the first . Much shorter."
