"1. I love the big screen - 17" is really nice and clear. 2. the battery life is really short - 2.5 hours of regular work and it's cooked. 3. Windows 8 really is a bad product. I was able to find a program that allows me to go back to Win7 style - what a relief. 4. The fan noise when the laptop is on idle (screen Saver is on) is very load. It idles between VERY load and quiet. This should have been fixed long time ago (my wife has a Toshiba with the same problem, and that laptop is 4+ years old). FIX the FAN NOISE ASAP. Over all - a good laptop."

"I have used Toshiba before. However, it was with Vista. This is much better with Windows 8. I don't use battery, so my rating is just a guess."
