"I bought this to replace my old four year old Toshiba Satelitte. It is still going but it is getting a bit worn. I like the light weightness of the new Satellite U845. It is fast and I like the keyboard. I am not so found of the mouse pad which is not very sensitive and even with playing with the settings is a bit disappointing."

"As sonn I arried in Brazil, the has blocked in a freeze screen. Althought I tryied to restart or turn off the computer it continuous freezing at the same image. How can I sole my problem? In Brazil it is not possible to use your Warranty. Regards, Lui"

"I'm new to this laptop and it's the first Toshiba I've owned. So far so good. It's very light and portable and the battery life seems to be what they said it would be. It's plenty quick for my needs and it can be upgraded, although it would be nice if it could have a bit more capacity upgradability."

"I reviewed several laptops, ultrabooks, tablets and the iPAD before I decided to purchase this ultrabook. I'm very "value" conscious and couldn't be more pleased with my decision. This Ultrabook actually replaced my 17" laptop. I was worried about the smaller screen size but knew I could hook it up to my 26" monitor if needed. I use it for EVERYTHING now. It's a snap to take to work, travel with and use at home. I regret absolutely nothing about this purchase!"

"I am usually the last person to write a review but I love this ultrabook. I have been a die hard Toshiba fan for several years after having a number of others fail me in short time frames. I purchased this to travel with as a desktop alternative. I use it for lite CAD work, and remote desktop. All I can say is if you are a road warrior and weight and space are a premium and budget it an issue this is the computer for you. I read a number of reviews that were not the best but decided to try it anyway. I can truly say I am impressed. It is light, fast and feels well built. In comparison to my Previous satellite 17" it is tiny but it gets the job done without wearing me out. The only thing I really miss is the number pad but Bluetooth has come to my rescue on that one :)"

"The keyboard is hard to use, but the performance is okay. The keyboard light are really cool, but the function key is messed up. the display and screen quality is okay for the average joe, but nothing amazing. All round it's a good computer that just need some refinement."
