"I purchased my Tablet May 14th, 2012 and am so glad I kept waiting until the most COMPLETE table finally hit the market. This tablet totally crushes the IPAD based upon it being thinner, having the micro USB and micro HDMI port on top of having a micro memory card slot. To utilize any of these 3 items you will need to buy adapters that convert down to the micro size but Toshiba offers all of them on their accessory page. This tablet is sleek, ultra thin, light and has GREAT graphics. The screen is gorgeous. It is lightening fast and the WiFi only option is not a problem as I tethered the tablet to my Android cell phone account when I was not near WiFi service and it worked like a charm. You will not need a data plan for this tablet if you have one on your cell phone that allows tethering. My only complaint is that I cannot play the same games I play on my laptop on this tablet (primarily GameHouse games). I have to download all new games, some are similar to what I have on my laptop but not nearly as good. I also wish the tablet would allow you to switch it to vibrate so I can be notified by vibration when an email arrives if I am in an area where I cannot have the volume up and they need to make a screen protector for this version. I had to use a screen protector for the Thrive tablet but the cut outs did not match so I had to cut it where the camera is on my Excite as I did not want to get scratches on my beautiful new screen. I also purchased the wireless Bluetooth keyboard, Bluetooth mouse, touch screen pen and docking station. The pens keeps the screen from getting tons of fingerprints on it also. Overall I love this tablet, and will not longer take my laptop when I travel as this option is so much lighter, smaller and is a complete system. It supports Windows applications and can hook up to a printer as well. This is the complete package as far as tablets go. Love, Love, Love it!!!!!!!!!"
