"This would be the best overall Blu-Ray I've owned if it wasn't for the constant reboot every time you shut it off. No version update works, and now it wont even download the latest ver 1.78"

"I have had this player since January 15. I had it replaced due to lock up issues but now it continues to lock up, will not start up the DVD either standard or BluRay. Very frustating. I bought this to go with my Toshiba 3D TV thinking I was making a wise choice, it turns out it was far from a wise choice."

"I have purchased many Toshiba products over the years and have been quite satisfied, however this unit did not work out of the box. I am an experienced technical person (Engineer). This unit's disc drive's motor parts were defective from the get-go. Not what I would expect from Toshiba. If my replacement unit is satisfactory I will update this review. As of now this until will not play a 3d disc without 5 reboots required."

"This unit locks up with the screen saying loading. You have to unplug it every time to reboot. Loaded latest firmware and did not help."

"Since the new firmware update the BDX3000 is much better BUT it still freezes when loading every 5th dvd or so also the menus are still slow and sluggish. Come on Toshiba fix this thing!"

"Great machine when it's working and playing a disc or streaming Netflix and Pandora. However, it freezes in standby mode and won't turn back on with the remote or the front panel unless it's unplugged and plugged back in. Unacceptable."
