"The Price!! You should think about what you get for what you pay for on this camera. I use this camera about once a week, sometimes more. I love to play with the time lapse and motion detection modes. I live on a hill facing the Pacific and like taking time lapse of the sunset, but I also used it on a trip to Minnesota last year, and I time lapsed the whole trip. I didn't like that you cant record while it is charging and I cant find a remote that works for this camera, but these are minor inconveniences for what you get. You can find a new one of these for around a hundred dollars and you get full HD and all the little trick things like time lapse and motion detection, night setting for low light, back-lighting, slow motion, and a stabilization mode. Also, this camera is truly easy to carry, it is small and at the same time has a good size viewfinder for those of us that need to use reading glasses. I am not sure what happened with all the other reviews, but I have never had it not work and I have had a lot of fun with all the settings. Buy and extra battery for a long recording and some more memory. It uses an 8 gig minisd. I think that if it won't charge, send it back and get one that works, because they are fun and easy to use."

"I've had this camera for one month and it won't charge anymore. I purchased a new battery and still the same problem. Is there any solution to the problem because it's seems to be widely spread, or do I just throw it away and look for another brand?"

"I received this camcorder as a Christmas gift. I charged it and tried it for just a few minutes to see how well it worked and I was impressed. A month later i tried to use it at the beach and it wouldn't power on. I just got back from a cruise and tried to use it again and experienced the same problem. Not worth paying even 10 dollars."

"My daughter received this camcorder for Christmas after asking for one for 3 years. Unfortunately I never looked into any reviews previous to the camcorder purchase however I've purchased many Toshiba products and been satisfied up to this point. Not the case now, she used the camera w/8gb sd card for less than a week the camcorder made her delete recordings and when we went on a family vacation with a full battery it died and will not turn on at all we've done everything nothing will work, I even purchased a new battery what a waist of $. :-("
